Delivery and payment
You’ll receive your QATs within 5-7 business days of ordering (not applicable to pre-ordered products which aren’t yet released).
For security reasons, we accept payment strictly by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
QATs are available to schools only. They’re strictly not for private tutors, parents or students.
All orders require a school purchase order number, teacher’s name and email address, school address, finance email address and phone number for verification processes.

HSC & Year 11 Trial Exams and Assessment Tasks (NSW)
Quality Assessment Tasks (QATs) have your HSC and Year 11 needs covered.
Developed by experienced teachers and writers, they cover the range of assessment materials required across senior secondary subjects including:

HSC Trial Examinations and Year 11 Examinations
These resources are developed in line with NESA requirements and include question and answer spaces, NESA-aligned marking guidelines and mapping grids.
Exam papers are editable allowing you to make any changes as required by your school (e.g. adding school logo) and for your specific course needs.
Delivery
Non-Exam Assessment Tasks are available from 12 October 2026 (first release) and 4 February 2027 (second release).
Trial Exams are available from week of 21 June 2027.
Year 11 Exams are available from week of 21 June 2027.
Embargo
All HSC Exams are embargoed until 27 August 2027 and Year 11 Exams until 24 September 2027.
Schools must ensure that papers are not released to students until after the embargoed period. Teachers may scrutinise papers with students during the embargoed period in a controlled session, such as a lesson. However, papers must be collected by the teacher at the end of the session. Under no circumstances are photos/photocopies/scans to be taken of any part of the papers, for or by students, during the embargoed period. When the embargoed period has ended, papers may be permanently returned to students.
Non-Exam Assesment Tasks
Assessment tasks are ready for classroom use and include the following features:
- Introduction – identifies the essential elements of the task in relation to expected outcomes and content.
- Task advice – includes relevant source material, questions, and mark allocation.
- Teacher advice – includes task management strategies and a mapping grid as appropriate.
- Marking Guidelines – provides teachers and students with a NESA-aligned explanation of the basis on which marks for the task/question are allocated.
We recommend that teachers use a variety of assessment tasks to ensure the security and integrity of an assessment program.

VCE Trial Exams and Assessment Tasks (Victoria)
Quality Assessment Tasks (QATs) are a comprehensive set of assessment resources for use with School Assessed Coursework (SACs) and examinations at VCE Units 1-4.
The assessment tasks provide an excellent resource for teachers to use directly with their students: both for assessment and as preparation for assessment. Delivered by email, they can be downloaded instantly and printed for immediate student use.
All SAC tasks and exams are published in Word which allows teachers the freedom to alter/vary tasks in accordance with VCAA expectations.
QATs School Assessed Coursework (SACs)
- Introduction – identifies the essential elements of the task in relation to VCAA outcomes and content.
- Task advice – includes relevant source material, questions, and mark allocation
- Task variation suggestions – alternative questions and/or approaches to the task are provided to assist with alignment and security requirements.
- Teacher advice – includes any specific task management issues and links to VCAA requirements.
- Solution Pathway – provides teachers and students with an explanation of the basis on which marks for the task/question are allocated. Sample high level responses are also provided.
QATs Examinations
The VCE Practice Examinations include similar features to those outlined above, including a Solution Pathway. They provide exam instructions consistent with VCAA guidelines and examinations, design structures, expectations with study design content, and skills development.
Delivery
NEW Units 1 and 3 QATs for 2027 will be emailed to schools from 8 February 2027 and Units 2 and 4 from 3 May 2027. Trial Exams emailed from 12 July 2027. Exisiting QATs emailed now.

Placing orders
The order forms are fillable PDFs designed for Adobe Acrobat (download for free here). They may not work properly if you open them in a web browser or a built-in preview app.
Download the file, open it in the Adobe Acrobat Reader, then fill it in and save.
If you still have trouble, you can print the form, complete it by hand, and scan and email it.
Every order needs a school purchase order number, the teacher's name and email address, the school address, a finance email address and a phone number. Please use your school email address. If you order from a different address, we'll need to contact your school to verify your position before processing the order.
QATs are available to registered schools only. They can't be purchased by or for private tutors, parents, students or individuals outside a school.
Yes. Simply complete a new order form with the additional items and email it to us, quoting your original purchase order number.
You'll receive a confirmation email once your order is processed.
Payment and invoicing
We accept payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only. For security reasons, we can't accept credit cards or cheques.
Your invoice is sent by email from our finance team after your resources are delivered, usually within 7 days.
If you've ordered something that hasn't been released yet, you won't be invoiced until it's delivered. Invoices are payable within 30 days.
Our ABN is 35 081 897 494. For bank details or a completed supplier form, please contact us and we'll send what your finance team needs.
Yes. Each purchase is for use within your school, and you can make as many copies as you need for your students to complete the assessment. You don't need to buy per student.
Delivery and access
All QATs are delivered by email to the teacher who placed the order. Nothing is posted.
If the resource is already available, it's usually emailed within 5-7 working days of your order being placed.
If it hasn't been released yet, you'll receive it from the release date listed for your state on this page and in the order form.
First, check the release date for your state; your resource may not be available yet.
Next, check your junk or spam folder, and ask your IT team whether school email filters might be blocking the attachments.
If none of that explains it, please contact us with your school name and purchase order number.
Yes, past exams are available for selected subjects. Look for the past examinations order forms in each state's section above.
Yes, we can resend replacement files or passwords for up to three months from the date of purchase.
We currently offer samples for NSW and VIC, which you can find above.
Refund or exchange requests can be made within three months of purchase using our refund request form, available from us on request. Unfortunately, we don't provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
